Stay

Can we check in before 15:00?

Our check in time is after 15:00, but we can keep your baggage before check in.
Also, we can keep it after you check out within the same day.

Is our room has private bathroom?

It depends on the room type. Please visit the Stay page from the link below: HOTEL Page

It looks like my check-in time will be later than planned.

Your check-in time can be adjusted anytime between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM without any problem.

Please note that our entrance will be locked after 11:00 PM. If you expect to arrive later than 11:00 PM, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance.

Can we reserve non-smoking room?

Our rooms are all non-smoking rooms.
There is a smoking room on the first floor.

Could you tell me about bed-sharing for children?

One child aged 3 or under may stay free of charge per private room.
*If there are two or more children aged 3 or under, the second child and onward will be charged the same rate as an adult.

Children aged 4 and above will be charged the same rate as an adult. Please note that bed-sharing is not available.

Dormitory rooms are available for guests aged 16 and above.
However, due to room type restrictions, guests aged 15 or under are not permitted to stay in dormitory rooms, even when accompanied by an adult.

How can I cancel/change the booking?

We ask all of our guests to process cancellation/modification through the website you make a booking. So we are not able to process them through phone call.

Regarding cancellation fee, it will apply cancellation policy of your booking.

Can minors stay without being accompanied by an adult?

Guests aged 16 and above may stay without adult supervision. However, guests aged 16 to 18 are required to submit a “Parental Consent Form for Minor Accommodation” signed by a guardian in order to stay.

Please download the consent form from the link below, fill it out in advance, and submit it either at check-in or prior to your arrival.

How can I make a payment for the stay?

We accept both credit card cash, and payment is upon check-in. Please note that we do not accept Union Pay.

Can we park our car near by?

We have approximately 10 parking spaces in our free parking space. We do not take reservations for parking.

If the parking lots are full, please use coin parkings nearby.

Service

Is breakfast included in room fee?

No, it isn’t. Please make a reservation when you check in or 1 day before.
We serve basic Western style breakfast. It costs 2,000 yen.

Menu

Tell us more about use of hot springs.

The hot spring is public style separate for men and women.
We do not accept onsen for private use.
Tattoos are allowed in onsen area.

What type of amenity is provided in our room?

Since we have a variety of room types, the amenities provided depend on your booking.

Can we send our luggage to your hotel from airport/previous hotel?

Yes. We only accept luggage with prepaid shipping. Please make sure to write the booker’s name and check-in date on the luggage.

How can I arrange for lost and found items?

If you have lost or forgotten an item, please contact us at the front desk or via our contact form. Items found in guest rooms will be kept for up to 3 months. Please note that food and beverages will be disposed of on the same day for hygiene reasons. WPÜ HOTEL HAKONE does not assume any responsibility for lost items.
