Is breakfast included in the accommodation fee?

We offer a complimentary morning tea service to all our guests, which includes tea, coffee, bread, and juice. (7:00 AM – 9:30 AM)

What is the cancellation and change policy for reservations?

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the booking site and plan, so please check the respective booking site or your reservation confirmation email.

Is the laundry service available 24 hours?

Our hotel provides coin laundry facilities. The laundry room is available from 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily. If you need change or detergent, please contact the front desk.

How do I inquire about lost and found items?

Please contact us via the front desk or contact form if you have lost or found any items. Lost items found in guest rooms are kept for up to 3 months. Perishable food items are disposed of on the day for hygiene reasons. Please note that WPU HOTEL SHINJUKU is not responsible for any lost items.

Can I make special requests for my room?

We will do our best to accommodate your requests, however, we do not guarantee them.

Are there any special policies or fees for additional guests or visitors?

Only registered guests are allowed in guest rooms and floors. Please use the 2nd-floor lobby lounge for meeting visitors. Additional guests staying overnight will incur extra charges, which vary depending on the room type.

Are desks available in the rooms?

Desks are available in most rooms except for some types. Desk rentals are also available upon request.

Where can I withdraw cash?

The best option is the ATM inside convenience stores. The nearest one is the FamilyMart about 100 meters from the hotel. For currency exchange, “Ninja Money Exchange,” open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM across the street.

Where can I find vegetarian or vegan meals?

Our hotel’s 1st-floor “WPÜ CAFE SHINJUKU” offers vegetarian and vegan options. Nearby, there are restaurants such as “CoCo Ichibanya” and “AFURI,” and high-quality vegetarian/vegan restaurants like “Ain Soph,” “Mr. Farmer,” and “Kiboko.”

Do the rooms have heating or air conditioning?

All rooms are equipped with a thermostat controlled by a central system. It is set to cooling in summer and heating in winter, so guests cannot switch modes. We provide blankets, portable heaters, and fans upon request. Please ask at the front desk.

Why is the shower water sometimes cold?

Due to the hotel’s boiler system managing hot water for the entire building, water temperature tends to be lower between around 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The bidet function is unavailable during this time. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Do you provide children’s amenities?

We offer baby beds and bed guards (limited quantity). Please request if needed. Baby beds are suitable for children under 24 months.

Is co-sleeping allowed?

Co-sleeping is free for children up to 5 years old. Children 6 years and older are counted as adults, so co-sleeping is not permitted. For children 6 years and older, please reserve a separate bed. The number of children allowed to co-sleep varies by room type; please check the room details.

Is there parking available?

Our hotel does not have dedicated or affiliated parking. Please use the nearby coin-operated parking lots.
