“Stillness in Bloom” is a two-hour experience where sound, flowers, and tea come together in a calm and immersive setting.
Guests will first settle into the space with a gentle sound bath performance, allowing the soft sounds of the bowls to ease the mind and body. From there, participants will be guided into an ikebana workshop, learning about the history of this traditional Japanese floral art while creating their own arrangement. The experience concludes with a matcha demonstration and a cup of freshly prepared matcha, offering a final moment to pause and enjoy the tea together.
In 2024, received official certification as an instructor of the Ichiyō-style ikebana school and began activities under the floral name “Ingram Varyu.” Originally from Nagano and raised in close connection with nature, brings a deep sensitivity to the character and individuality of each plant. Has participated in demonstrations, exhibitions, and workshops that introduce the art of ikebana to diverse audiences. Through ikebana, continues to explore the harmony between nature, tradition, and artistic expression while sharing the beauty of Japanese floral culture.
