Inviting food creators active in Tokyo, “POP-UP BREAKFAST” is a special morning event held irregularly in the lounge space of WPU HOTEL SHINJUKU.
Through one-day-only menus and atmospheres, we offer new morning experiences to hotel guests and members of the WPU community.For this edition, we welcome YAMI-SUSHI, who brings pop-up sushi stalls to various events across the city.They will be serving a light set of several pieces of sushi and a warm bowl of soup — the perfect way to start your day at WPU.
Yami Sushi is a project born to deliver a space filled with sushi and music.Based in Ryogoku, a city steeped in Edomae culture, the restaurant offers sushi catering, delivery, and reservation-only sushi parties.Leveraging its background, which is strongly influenced by African-American culture, the restaurant proposes a borderless approach to sushi restaurants, including pop-up events overseas and “Yonaki Sushi” (Late-Night Sushi) in nightclubs.The restaurant aims to create an exotic, futuristic experience for urbanites, by urbanites.
