ONSEN

Soak & Relax in Hakone

Relax in Hakone’s
milky-white hot spring.

After a long day of travel, relieve your fatigue in Hakone’s distinctive milky-white waters. As you breathe the crisp air and let quiet time flow, surrender yourself to the gentle spring—and let your mind unwind. Warm to your core and forget the everyday, savoring the moment. We provide hair care amenities from the New York skincare brand Malin+Goetz. Their pleasant scent and premium feel enrich the after-soak experience.

Legacy in Every Drop

The history of Hakone Onsen began in 738 AD (Tenpyō 10) when the monk Jōjōbō discovered the “Sōyu” spring. This spring is still in use beneath the hall of Yumoto Kumano Shrine. Its waters are known to help alleviate and improve atopic dermatitis, eczema, impaired glucose tolerance (diabetes), superficial suppurative skin diseases, cuts, peripheral circulatory disorders, sensitivity to cold, depression, skin dryness, and more.

Beyond the Steam

Wrap Yourself in Tradition

Wrap yourself in our original hemp yukata with its soft texture and fully enjoy the moments after your soak. In this serene time away from daily life, unwind your mind and body while feeling the gentle Hakone breeze—an experience like no other.

Chill Cider After the Steam

We offer a cold post-soak cider that soothes your warmed body. The cool carbonation reinvigorates the body after relaxing in the hot spring, enhancing the after-soak bliss. Enjoy a quietly indulgent moment that cleanses your body and spirit.
