Passages traces the quiet crossings that shape a life. Shot across continents, these photographs follow the world through its thresholds. Each image holds a transition: a shift in light, a change in atmosphere, a person caught mid-journey before they fully arrive.
The work is unified by a meticulous grading practice that treats light as a living character. Light, colors and tones become connective tissue, turning distant geographies into a single visual language. For me grading doesn’t decorate the images, it unveils their inner temperature, the emotional truth beneath the surface.
At its core, Passages studies not just how light moves through the world, but also how we move through it, not as tourists or locals, but as travelers suspended in small moments of becoming. It’s about the passages we travel but also passages of time, memory and scripture. Each photograph is a crossing, through space and time. Each color grade a quiet amplification of the emotional core of a memory. Each threshold a place where we are subtly shaped into who we’re becoming.
